About PePP

Needs-based individual advice and support

The PePP project (“Partnership  for  Innovative  E-Exams”) brings together the universities of the state of Baden-Württemberg in an effort to establish and promote a state-wide strategy and the further development of e-exams. Innovation is planned in three areas: Strengthening the competence orientation of examinations, increasing mobility and flexibility in examinations, and making examinations more learner-centered. We offer this in two areas.

1. Qualification and advice on the didactic principles of e-exams

The aim of this measure is to support lecturers from all faculties and institutes in the didactic conception and (further) development of e-examinations; thus ensures skills orientation and quality assurance , thus being able to make full use of the didactic potential. The focus is on the didactic perspectives and potential of e-exams, as well as technical and organizational framework conditions. This complements the range offered by Media Didactics and the wide range of university didactic workshops.

2. Technical-didactic application scenarios for innovative e-exams

The digital tools open up new possibilities for skills-oriented, learner-centered examinations. However, the prerequisite for a reflective didactic redesign by lecturers is that they have   technical and didactic knowledge of feasible examination formats. That's why we want to teach them in an application-oriented way and thus enable a low threshold for the introduction.

Based on the principles of higher education didactics, we work together with lecturers to develop and test the concrete implementation of innovative examination formats with the developed tools in transferable scenarios for tangible teaching and learning events.

In addition to the didactic and content-related redesign of the examinations, implementing them technically, and legal admissibility, the focus is also on the processes involved in using the new digital tools.

The technical requirements are always taken into account, and KIM is your direct contact for exclusively technical questions.
