Centre for Teaching and Learning BaWü (HDZ)

With our range of continuing education, we support you in further developing your teaching skills and expanding your scope of action in the area of teaching and learning.
The state-wide association of all universities and universities of education (HDZ Baden-Württemberg) provides you with a comprehensive range of qualifications, which you can complete with a ministerially certified “Baden-Württemberg Certificate for Teaching and Learning at University Level.”
In addition, we offer customized workshops for departments and teams, individual advice, and peer-to-peer exchange on good practice examples in the event format “Hohenheim Teaching in Dialog.”

Academic teaching is a central task of university lecturers. The HDZ's university didactics program teaches, deepens, and tests the basic teaching skills required for this.

Hohenheim Teaching in Dialog

Teaching development by direct dialog between the lecturers: This concept is the basis for the new series of events organized by the Educational Development Unit entitled “Hohenheim Teaching in Dialog.” In this series, good practice examples or presentations on specific topics are used to provide impetus and share experiences.

Customized workshops and advice session

Institutes, departments, or teams can request one-day or multi-day workshops on fundamental or current didactic topics in higher education and media didactics from the Educational Development Unit.

We are also happy to provide you with individual advice on planning and implementing your face-to-face, online, or blended learning course. more
